Our Washing Machine and Dish Washer are connected to two different voltage surge protectors which in turn are directly plugged into two separate 16A wall mounted power sockets. These machines typically run unattended during the washing cycle time of about one hour. One can have peace of mind when they are powered on, if voltage surge were to occur. No messy tangling of wires.
